You turned around to see who was calling you. You weren't surprised to see your (~~partner in crime~~) friend, Mathias running towards you.

"What's up, Mat?"

"Lukas' gonna come over to my place in a few hours. Wanna come over?" Mathias said as he gave off a smirk.

"Why do I have a feeling that you're up for something, Mathias?" You said as you narrowed your eyes, glaring at him.

"C'mon... You know you want to~" He said teasingly.

"......"

-Le Time Skip by Mr. Puffin-

"...Only a few more minutes." Mathias said as he looked over the clock.

"I'll just go over the kitchen." You said as you left the room.

*knock knock*

"HEY! How are ya-"

"Fine." Lukas said, rather coldly as he made his way towards the couch.

"Geez, man. Hey (name)! Make him some coffee!" Mathias shouted as he gave emphasis to coffee.

"Damn it, Mathias! I'm no slave of yours!" You shouted across the room.

'I don't think I can do this...' You thought as you were hesitating on adding a spoonful of BUTTER to the coffee you were about to give to Lukas.

Yes. This was Mathias' idea, a prank rather. You and Mathias were best friends since then. He also knew about your little* crush on Lukas. Both of you enjoyed pranking but you never did so on Lukas.

Finally, you've made your decision. You added butter to his coffee after a moment of thinking. Then your naughty side took over. You decided to place two more spoons of butter in it. It all felt unusual. You didn't have the sense of dying for the fact that Lukas might kill you after drinking such thing. You felt like there was nothing to worry about.

You then made your way to serve the coffee.

Mathias gave you a confused look, wondering why you took so long just to start off some prank. Lukas had no idea. You started to feel sorry for him.

Lukas stared at the mug for a few seconds and then looked at you.

"Go on..." You said as you sat beside him.

You were surprised that Lukas didn't seem to mind that his coffee looked awkward.

There it goes. Lukas first took a sip of the coffee. Mathias was surprised that he didn't have any reaction.

Then, Mathias gave you this 'AreYouSureYouDidItProperly?' look and you just grinned.

...But you both ended up with a blank face when you noticed that the mug was EMPTY.

-awkward silence-

"Uh... (name)?" Mathias said, tilting his head.
