Chapter 03: Privacy, please?

"I assume that right now..." Ludwig points his gun at Lukas. "...you are thinking of how this all slipped. Are you not?" He smirks. "It's quite foolish of you, really. And I'd like to thank you for bringing your woman as well. She'll be of great use to Gilbert."

'I need to get out of here with these files... but not without (name) and that idiot.' Lukas smirks when he remembered what he had done earlier at the bar...

Ludwig takes a step closer. "It's quite an honor to have you here in mein office. Probably better with your blood all over mein desk and your lifeless body hanging on the tree on the backyard." He coughs and cover his mouth immediately. "W-What the--" He falls onto his knees and starts coughing up blood. "Y-You!"

...Poison.

"I was hoping that you would be smart enough. Leaving your drink on the counter with a trained assassin?" Lukas gave a soft laugh as he pulls out his pistol and aims for Ludwig's head. "Would you like for me to end it quickly, Mr. Beilschmidt?"

"Meister!" A servant yelled as he rushed in, lifting a gun. Soon, a maid came in and hid behind the other servant. They were both trembling.

"Tötet ihn!" Ludwig commanded as he collapsed.

"He can't shoot." Lukas says in a mocking tone. As if it were a signal, the servant immediately aimed the gun at Lukas, but he failed to pull the trigger. Lukas was too fast- a bullet straight through the servant's eye. "N-No! Brother!" The maid knelt down beside her brother's corpse, sobbing. Lukas felt guilty at the moment, like he was paralyzed. The woman saw this and smirked as she pulled out a knife. And as she was about to throw it at Lukas- this time he wasn't fast enough to fire his gun, but instead, the maid was shot- multiple times. The maid just stared off and collapsed, leaving out a pool of blood.

Lukas took a step back as he saw (name) enter the room with a submachine gun in hand and with several bruises. He gathered the files and walked towards her. She must have noticed the way he was looking at her, concerned. "Nah, I had to beat up Gilbert's guards and all." She twitched when she mentioned Gilbert. Lukas gave her a confused look.

"Don't ask." You said as you leaned onto the wall.

"Wow. I gotta ask the general to lend me more of this." You said as gave out a cheeky grin, just like the ones Mathias would give. "I'd like to have this beauty in my collection. Don't you agree?" You said as you raised the gun. Lukas nodded. And there it hit you, just at the moment when you thought you'd be forgetting someone. "I guess we're leaving without Mat?" You asked as you tried to pull a cute face to at least convince him.

"That's not going to work, (name). Here, take this." He shoves you the stack of papers as he grabs your gun and shoots the window. He gestures you to jump down first, but you shook your head. He gave you an 'Are-You-F***ing-Kidding-Me' look as he grabbed your wrist and pulled you with him as you went off.

Times skip: A few minutes later, at the basement

??? POV:

"G-Gott verdammt. What happened?" You heard Gilbert as he winced in pain.

"Hey, man. You sure got your ass kicked by a chick." You laughed as you tried helping him stand.

"Kesesese~! I'd kill for a woman like that. She is married after all."

"She's not." You answered back immediately, slightly surprising the German.

"Good to know. Where's mein bruder?" He asked.

"He's dead, Gil." You answered flatly. "What do you want me to do about it?"

Gilbert looked down. His eyes teared up, but not a tear rolled down. "Send one of your men to kill Lukas and tell 'em not to scratch the pretty frau." He immediately called for Elizaveta and she handed him the guess list.

"Oh, man. Let me sign before I go." You grinned as you grabbed the list. "I guess they were too busy to even bother signin' before leaving." Gilbert said as he sat down on the barrel. You laughed along with him. He then stopped and looked around, sensing that there was something missing.

"Scheiße! She took mein beautiful SMG!"

Time skip: 2 days later, at the agency's base

You sat on your desk, waiting for your general to come up. You can't get Mathias off your mind. How could you not worry? He may not be the best agents to work with, but he just turned out to be one of your friends.

"Agent (last name)?" Lukas said as he waved a hand in front of you. "Is something bothering you?" He asked as he sat beside you. "It's Mathias isn't it?" He said as he handed you your coffee.

"Well..." You stood up and took a sip of your drink and placed it on the desk.

"You like him, don't you?" He asked monotonously.

"What?! N-No! NO!" You laughed. "I just see him as a friend. Don't worry!" You looked to see if there was any change of emotion. There was nothing. You just hoped for a little.

"You deserve better." He said as he loaded his gun.

"Are you done with your personal discussions, Agent Bondevik? Agent (last name)?" General Braginski said, with a face showing how bored he obviously was.

"Sorry!" "My apologies, general." You both said as you quickly took your seats.

"Where is Agent Kohler?" General Braginski asks with a tone of sadness. "Is he-"

"He's not dead, sir." Lukas quickly answered and you smiled.

And right on cue, the doors slammed open, revealing Mathias with some cuts and bruises- still having that wide grin on his face.

"You guys missed me?" He winked at you, and you pulled the finger. He made a fake gasp and grabbed Lukas by the arm. "Lukas! Your girlfriend is such a meanie!" Lukas didn't seem to mind since he pulled out the finger as well.

You looked over to general seeing that his palm was directly planted on his face.

"Черт. Are you guys done? I could just fire all of you, if you're tired of me nagging here." He said through his palm, making it a bit muffled. Everyone nodded. "Well... Seeing Agent Kohler's condition, I don't think he'd be capable of handling this mission. I'll be sending the two of you to Milan, Italy."

"Aw... but general!" Mathias whined as he spun his chair.

"You need to rest up, idiot." Lukas said as he gestured the general to continue.

"Ah..." General Braginski pauses as he tried looking through his papers. "You will be on a rendezvous with Agent Arlovskaya. She wanted to trade information with you." He sighed. "Try not to stress her out. She had just wiped out someone's personal army recently." You raised a brow at that statement. 'Cool. She must be some special agent.' You thought as you drank your coffee.

"So, general? What's their cover this time?" Mathias asked with a smirk on his face. That question made you spit out your coffee.

"No more cheesy, lovey-dovey covers, please!" You yelled.

"Don't worry, Agent (last name). Any cover will do." He said with that childish smile of his. "You will recieve your tickets- first thing in the morning, and all the others will follow." He said as the screen went off.

"I wonder what he meant by that..."

Time skip: 2 days later in Milan, Italy

"I've always wanted a mission here." You looked around in awe. You grabbed your bag and looked over to your watch, "10:49" You said and sighed. You were tired and bored as hell. The entire trip was so quiet. It felt like you were travelling alone.

You got into the hotel's lobby. It was beautiful. You looked over to the counter, seeing Lukas with a questioning look as he held a key. A KEY. Just one key... He seemed as if he were complaining but he soon gave up. He approached you with a look of defeat.

"What's wrong?" You asked, completely oblivious to what was happening. He didn't answer. He just quickly grabbed your wrist and dragged you along with him. After to what seemed like a couple of minutes, you were now both standing in front of a room. He gave you the key and you quickly grabbed it, opening the door.

"Damn..." You said as you looked around the room. It was fancy, almost too fancy. And then you looked over to the bed- great.

"We might as well play it that way." Lukas said as he took off his coat.

"If only he wasn't our general, I could've killed him a long time ago." You said as you crossed your arms. You sighed as you headed for the window to open it up for fresh air. You looked over to the other side only to see a man with blond hair that's tied up, drinking a glass of wine.

"Greetings, mon cher." He said as he waved at you, causing you to blush and wave back.

Lukas looked over to you as he was putting on his shirt. He noticed that you were chatting with someone- whoever it was, s/he sure got you talking. Perhaps it was his fault. He was going to make it up to you...

"I know! The food here is amazing!" You said as you moved your hand around. "Ma chérie, you must visit France! It would surely take your breath away!" He suggested. You knew he was French. He seemed pretty nice. "Are you alone? Here, in Italy?" He asked with a worried expression. "Oh, no. I'm with my-"

"Husband." Lukas said as he wrapped his arms around you, his head on the crook of your neck. You stiffened at his sudden actions and blushed madly.

"Ah, I see." The Frenchman looked disappointed, though he seemed to quickly set it aside. "Well... Have fun! It was nice meeting both of you. Bonne nuit!" He said as he went back to his room.

"Bye!" You said as you quickly turned around to face Lukas. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" You said in a loud* whisper.

"I'm trying to protect our cover! Do you have any idea who that man was?." He asked, then changed the topic. "Since this room is designed for couples, we might as well use it as one." He said as he let go of you and laid down on the bed. You were annoyed this time. You decided to change clothes- that was when you entered the washroom to see a nightgown, waiting for you to wear it. You cursed to yourself for taking this mission and wore it instead.

You walked back into the room, twitching as you crawled over to the bed. Lukas looked at you with slight concern and continued reading his book. As soon as you laid beside him, he stared at you.

"How are you doing?" He asked. There was something different in that tone of his.

"I-I'm fine. I'm just not used to wearing this." You said as you looked away.

"Hmm..." He scooted closer to you. "You might as well get used to it." He said as he started kissing your neck. He looked back at you to see your reaction. You were indeed frozen.

"W-What the f*** was that for?!" You tried pushing him away. He gave out a soft laugh that was almost too sexy. "We're entertaining the audience, or rather, your new friend." He said as he glanced back at the the window which you had forgotten to close. 'Damn it...' You thought.

"His name is Francis Bonnefoy. He works with the Beilschmidts." He said as he kissed your forehead. "He's here to kill us, most probably me." He paused. "...but seeing that he enjoys our efforts, we might as well stall him. I've already contacted Agent Kirkland to take care of him." You nodded as you looked over to the window, that damn pervert.

"Fine." You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him closer to you. Lukas smirked and kissed you on the lips, passionately. You only hoped that he meant all this. You just went on with the act, though you were a bit hesitant on kissing him back. He noticed how nervous you were and placed you on top him. "Just relax..." He said and went back to kissing you. You finally gave in and closed your eyes, enjoying the moment. You gasped almost instantly when he licked your bottom lip, turning it to his advantage. With that attitude of yours, you knew that you couldn't let him have it all so easily, so you decided that this won't go long without a battle.

Both of you were going to keep this up for as long as necessary.

Francis' POV:

'Oh, how I would love to have that woman in my arms.' You thought as grabbed your rifle from its case. "No wonder why Gil's fallen for her. She seems like the agressive type." He said as he loaded the gun.

"Should I wait for the next scene, or should I just-"

"Drop your weapons, you bloody frog!" Arthur commanded immediately after he had barged in the room with his men. "Agent Kirkland, MI6." He said as he pulled out his badge and commanded the others to drop their weapons. "A-Arthur! I can explain!" Francis pleaded as he took a step back. "Not a chance! I've always wanted to arrest you!" Arthur laughed as he cuffed up Francis and dragged him out, along with his men out of the room.

"Arthur? May I request one, last thing?" Francis said as he looked back at Arthur.

"Fine. What is it?"
